
How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
My final Magazine

The main similarities between my magazine and poster is the font i used for the title of our film (bell MT) By using the same font as each other this makes it easily recognisable to the audience and they will know that is is advertising the same product.The other being the main images i used for each, they both include the two main characters of our film, by using the main characters the audience can see the kind of characters they will be identifying with in the film before they even see the trailer.
This is our website where the audience can find everything they are looking for about the film, and they can find all the social media links and links to purchase posters and magazines. In our website we have also created a gallery with images from the film, these images are linked to the images used on my magazine and poster, this is a type of cross media convergence where all our social media sites, and magazines and posters are all clearly linked together making it easy for the audience to find what they're looking for.

Our poster has our has our film website address on it so if the audience are captured by the poster and want to find out more then they can visit our website to find out more information abut the film. Our website also has links to where you can purchase our magazines and posters as well as links to all our social media sites, and on all our social media sites you will find the link to our website. So all of our products and social medias are linked in one big loop so which ever the audience see first they will be able to find everything. Our website also shows our official trailer which is the main thing we want our audience to see as it will allow them to gain the most knowledge about the film and they can begin to relate to the characters making them want to watch the entire film.
We synergised with Universal productions as this is such a well known company in the film industry and we wanted our audience to know they were going to get a good quality film before they've even seen it. This is why the universal logo is not only shown at the beginning of our trailer but is also included on our magazines and posters.
